Northumbria and St. George University Collaboration Medical Sciences
The School of Applied Sciences at Northumbria University and St. George’s University in Grenada have combined their study programmes, to provide an exciting pathway to becoming a medical doctor. Students wishing to enter directly into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme can commence their studies in January 2010 with a further intake in August 2010. (Students wishing to enter the pre-medical year can commence their studies in August 2010).
This degree, which can take between 4 – 6 years depending on entry qualifications, is especially suited to international students and, since its introduction in January 2007, over 600 students from around the globe have studied the first year of the Basic Medical Sciences programme at Northumbria.
