| University guide: Edge Hill University |
|
Our at-a-glance guide to Edge Hill University Edge Hill is a rapidly growing institution. It has over 23,000 students and has experienced a consistent increase in applications in recent years, outstripping the national average. The university is expanding physically, too. An investment of £200m over the next 10 years means the main campus - a 160-acre site located outside Liverpool near Ormskirk - is set to expand significantly. An £8m state-of-the-art business and law school opened in 2009, as well as new on-campus accommodation. Edge Hill offers an award-winning student finance package and is a lead institution for widening participation to higher education. The university also ranks in the national top 10 for graduate employment, with 95.3% of students finding jobs or further study within six months of leaving.
